The Making Music Workshop offers young people the chance to learn about contemporary rock and pop music with the people who make it. We believe that the courses we provide offer the most experienced and knowledgeable staff in the country, we firmly hold the view that the best way to learn about rock and pop music, the music industry, performance and recording is to study with those who are leading industry professionals. The Making Music Workshop provides courses in a number of different formats including;
one week performance workshops, two-day performance workshops, composition and recording weeks and weekends, one and two day festival workshops.
The Making Music Workshop offers courses designed to meet the needs of students of varying degrees of ability and experience. Practically based, they provide the student with knowledge to solidify existing ability, improve and develop skills, establish personal communication skills at different levels, gain experience in music performance in a group setting and to meet other like minded individuals and therefore establish a skills pool in the locality.
The Making Music Workshop provides local communities with one and two day courses and one week courses designed to maximise the benefit to the students. Courses can and have been specifically tailored to suit the individual needs of the event i.e. for festivals, school projects etc.
