NAME: Luke Papenfus

D.O.B: 30/09/90

Luke has been a drummer for over seven years and he is also a talented bass player. He enjoys trash metal and giging with his band. His goal in life is to play with his band outside of Northern Ireland!

Luke’s inspirations are Steve Smith and Dave Lombardo

 

NAME: Neil Small

D.O.B: 23/01/90

Luke has been a bass player for just over a year. Like Luke he enjoys trash metal and giging with his band. His goal in life is also to play with his band outside of Northern Ireland!

Neil’s inspirations are Slayer and Pantera

 

NAME: Mathew McConvey

D.O.B: 21/01/89

Mathew is the guitarist of the band but he is also an accomplished songwriter, bassist and drummer! He enjoys trash metal music and he shares in the dream with the other musicians in the band and hopes to play outside of Northern Ireland with the band.

Mathew’s inspirations are Machine Head and Slayer

Not really

Ok pretty helpful at times

Has the music works course changed your future ambitions?

Yes I want to be in a band professionally and get signed

What changes have you made to your lifestyle since the course?

In a proper band now and practice twice a week

Yes 1year

What changes have you/ your band taken since completion of the course?

Acquired new members

Arts Centre, The Hoot and Assumption Grammar School

Not yet

Have you come up with any new material?

2 new original songs

What are your future plans with your band and how do you aim to achieve them?

I hope to go touring with the band and record an album!!

Recording, PA operation & setup and

Was there any downsides or areas you would have liked covered in more detail?

I think it would have been better if it had been two days per week instead of just one.

Did you find the workbooks of any value?

Yes, helpful for writing songs

Has the music works course changed your future ambitions?

I am now interested in music engineering

What changes have you made to your lifestyle since the course?

I now spend a lot more time writing music

Is your band still together?

Yes for 5 months

What changes have you/ your band taken since completion of the course?

Not much, except the inclusion of backing vocals and original material.

6-7 gigs

The Hoot, The Rosetta, RGE and the Arts Centre

Hope to in the future maybe in a years time.

Completed 6 originals

What are your future plans with your band and how do you aim to achieve them?

At the minute it is just for fun, maybe we will work semi professionally.
